Deviled eggs are a delicious and classic appetizer that everyone loves. If you're looking for a way to add some color to your next party or gathering, such as Easter, you can try a colorful deviled egg recipe. In this blog post, I will share a recipe for colorful deviled eggs that are not only tasty but also visually appealing.

INGREDIENTS:

Include everything your reader needs to make this recipe perfectly, with measurements, optional additions, or alternatives. For example:

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs

  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise

  • 2 teaspoons of mustard

  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

  • Sprinkle of Paprika

  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped vegetables (Optional)

  • Food coloring (red, blue, green, yellow)

  • 1 teaspoon White Vinegar per color

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks. Set aside the egg white halves on a platter.

  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mash the egg yolks with a fork until they are fine and crumbly. Add in the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together until it is smooth.

  3. Divide the egg yolk mixture into different bowls. Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl and mix well until the desired color is achieved. You can choose any color you like for the deviled eggs. Get creative with your colors!

  4. Spoon the different colored egg yolk mixtures into each of the egg white halves. You can either use a spoon or a piping bag to do this. *See notes4

  5. Sprinkle the finely chopped vegetables on top of the deviled eggs to add some texture and flavor.

  6. Add a light dusting of paprika over the top to really add some flavor!

  7. Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.

NOTES:

  • If you don't have a piping bag, you can use a Ziploc bag and cut a SMALL corner off to make your own piping bag. Seriously, cut small.

  • You can use different vegetable combinations or herbs to change the flavor and texture of your deviled eggs; or even none at all if your kids are like mine!

  • Serve the deviled eggs on a platter with a selection of colorful garnishes, such as fresh herbs or sliced vegetables, to add to the springtime theme.

  • Experiment with different food coloring combinations to create unique and eye-catching deviled eggs.
